Now in its 23rd year, the Vancouver Dragon Boat Festival, attracting over 100,000 people , is a two-day event centred around the dragon boat races. Over 180 teams compete in races that take place in False Creek and finish at Science World, where the Festival's free entertainment happens.  To promote waste reduction and motivate recycling, Tzu Chi volunteers from Great Vancouver join in one of  the volunteer teams of this event and guide people in sorting and recycling wastes in twelve recycling stands.  Volunteers also give explanation of DAAi  Technology Eco-Product in booth area and encourage visitors to join Tzu Chi green team.
